Residential Pressure Washing
Your home is one of the biggest financial investments you’ll ever make. Even if it’s in great condition and built with the finest features, if your exterior is dingy, moldy, or green with algae, it’s the first thing people will notice.
Why pressure washing, or soft washing, over power washing?
A common mistake made by customers is to go out and buy or rent a power washer to spray off their homes. Although (with a lot of elbow grease) this can make your home appear clean, it causes more problems than it solves.
In addition to being some seriously hard work, the force of the water in power washing can get underneath vinyl, damage siding, and chip paint. It also just moves around the bacteria/algae/mold/mildew on the surface of your home, rather than killing it. This is like cutting a weed off at its base - it looks gone for the moment, but it’s got roots and is ripe and ready to grow back.
It’s the same with your home. The mold and algae will return much faster if you’re not truly killing it from the surface.
We offer low pressure house cleaning (or “soft washing”), using a biodegradable solution. This uses less pressure per square inch (PSI), as well as a 40 degree wide-angle nozzle. This solution and method will kill the mold, mildew, lichen, moss, and algae from the surfaces of your home, actually cleaning it and caring for it. Customers are often surprised that the color of their home really appears brighter. We can furnish the water if we need to.
This method will also increase the amount of time you can go between cleanings, since we will be killing the bacteria.
Areas we clean also include:
- Gutters including cleanup of debris from gutters, cleaning off gutter guards (if present), and checking and cleaning all downspouts
- Roofs removing unsightly black stains, algae, mildew, and moss
- Concrete/driveways including older drives, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, etc.
We have over 21 years of experience in the pressure washing industry, and are fully insured. We like to make the process as easy as possible for our clients.
