Are the chemicals safe?
Yes. We use biodegradable chemicals that will clear the soil as we rinse. These are commercial-level detergents, however, that must be mixed properly. Handled correctly, you will not experience any plants or grass dying off around your home or business after cleaning.
Will your solution kill my plants and grass?
No. We use biodegradable chemicals that we also rinse during the process. Professionally handled, as we do, they will not cause any harm to your plants or grass.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Yes, please! We take great care while working, but there things you can do that will make everything run more smoothly.
- Make sure to provide us clear access, including security gates, parking, etc.
- Clear any objects beforehand, including hanging plants, furniture, grills, windchimes, etc., from the areas to be cleaned.
- Close and lock all doors and windows.
- Indicate your water access to the arriving crew (or discuss beforehand when scheduling).
- Please stay indoors while the building is being cleaned (including pets so that they don’t accidentally get cleaned!).
- Provide us with emergency contact information, in case you’re not at home when we’re there and something arises.
- Anything else? Do you know of a big yellow jacket hive underground in one of your bushes? Black widows like a certain spot in your patio? Seen a lot of copperheads around lately? Any helpful tidbits like this will help our crew stay safe on site.
- Please have payment ready upon completion, unless we have made prior arrangements with you. We accept cash, checks.
Will my water bill be really high after you come?
No. Most people don’t actually notice a difference in their bill at all. At the most, it’s a few dollars. While it is a soft wash, it is still pressurized water. This means that a little goes a long way.
What can I expect the day of cleaning?
We typically walk the area to be cleaned, noting anything that may need extra attention or care. Photos are taken as well, to document existing appearance and/or damage (we won’t use your home or building for before and after photos on social media or our website without your approval). We’ll check your water access and flow rate, while unloading our equipment, hoses, and biodegradable chemicals.
Once set up, we will get to work!
Upon completion, if you’re on site, we like to conduct a final walkthrough with you.
How often should I get my home or building cleaned?
This really depends on several factors. With normal dirt and grime exposure, in this area, you could stay in pretty good shape cleaning your home or building every two years. If you live right beside a pond or next door to kids who like to color on walls...the answer will change.
